Other Shoes Project

Plan:
Scott and I plan on obtaining my car to complete this project. Then, we will make a playlist that has songs that have very loud bass lines. Then we will drive around Springfield, IL to try to receive reactions from other citizens or drivers.

 Hypothesis:
If we were to play music very loud in my car, then people would stare and make rude comments about us.

Narrative:
We started by downloading songs with very load bass lines. Then after football practice I drove and picked up Scott. Then from there we drove through downtown Springfield while playing the music extremely loud. We mostly encountered rude stares and some people yelling at us. Then I had to go drop off something to my mother at her work. As we were stopped at a light on Cook Street, one gentleman had stopped next to our car and started yelling at us to turn the music down and some other things. There were some people who looked at us approvingly as we went by.

Analysis:
From this project we learned that we should probably not go around blaring music that cusses and says other things. Plus, it is just wrong to blare music so other people can hear it as from the one gentleman “told” us. All in all this was a very weird experience because we hate when a person pulls up next to us and the car begins to shake.
